Description

Sitting still, being quiet, breathing in and out -- this can seem like the last thing called for. Yet it's always the next right thing when things get a little crazy. The gold column of light, the prayer flags, and the pose itself are meant to suggest a connection with a Power greater than myself. The piece is made of layers of tissue paper, pastel and colored pencil and completed with yarn, beads and paint.
